2025 Chevrolet Blazer EV Specs & Performance

The Chevy Blazer EV returns to the Chevrolet model lineup for its sophomore year, delivering improved range, an additional performance-based trim, and more powertrain-and-drivetrain configurations. With three trims and more ways to customize your drive, this all-electric SUV is nothing short of a showstopper – and you'll get incredible range and specs regardless of the setup you choose. For starters, here are the three 2025 models and their available drivetrains:

  • 2025 Chevy Blazer EV LT: Standard FWD and available AWD
  • 2025 Chevy Blazer EV RS: Standard FWD and available RWD or AWD
  • 2025 Chevy Blazer EV SS: Standard AWD

The range-topping SS variant gives you the most thrilling performance with its Blazer EV AWD range, specs, and amenities. Hop behind the wheel and take command of 595 horsepower and 645 pound-feet of torque thanks to the SS model's Wide Open Watts technology, which allows this build to race from zero to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds. You can see the horsepower and torque specs for other trims and configurations in our chart below, but suffice it to say that you won't be disappointed by the less performance-oriented versions of the 2025 Blazer EV either.

If your priority is getting excellent range, the new Chevy Blazer EV delivers. EPA estimates aren't available for every trim and configuration yet. For example, the LT and RS front-wheel-drive models don't have official figures. The SS currently boasts the same 283-mile range as the other all-wheel-drive iterations in the lineup,2 but we expect that might drop a bit, given its exceptional output values. With all of that considered, the highest range value comes from the RS equipped with rear-wheel drive – up to an EPA-estimated 334 miles of range.1

Besides excellent range, the model garners impressive Blazer EV MPGe. MPGe, aka miles per gallon equivalent, is a measurement used to compare electric-capable models with their gas-only cousins. The Blazer EV for 2025 earns up to an EPA-estimated 95 MPGe (Combined)3, 4 for both RWD and AWD drivetrains. There's some slight variation in their city and highway MPGe ratings, as evidenced by the chart below, but it's not much. FWD models have yet to receive their 2025 EPA estimation.

All of these specs and more combine to create an impressive new Blazer EV that could be yours today. Without further ado, check out additional specs for the various trims with a side-by-side comparison chart, including available powertrains and drivetrains, output, and more.

2025 Chevy Blazer EV Trims and Features

2025 Chevy Blazer EV Trims & Features

The Blazer EV range is far from the only standout offering this electrified midsize SUV has on tap – every model is outfitted with creature comforts and conveniences that make drives more appealing to everyone in the family. The entry-level LT trim kicks things off with 19-inch wheels, a 17.7-inch diagonal touchscreen display, and an 11-inch diagonal driver information center.

The mid-level RS trim enhances the SUV's comfort. The front seats gain ventilated capabilities and make the previously available heated front seats standard. Opt for the RWD version of this trim, and you'll get access to a standard 8-speaker Bose® premium audio system, too. However, the AWD option of this vehicle doesn't include this high-fidelity audio system.

If you're on the hunt for the utmost luxury, the SS has it. This performance-driven variant is new for the 2025 lineup, replacing the 2024 RS as the top trim. It comes with sophisticated appointments on top of its exhilarating power. It's the only AWD model with that 8-speaker Bose® audio system mentioned above. It also provides advanced technology that you either can't find in previous trims or that comes via additional upgrades, including Enhanced Automatic Parking Assist, a Head-Up Display, and the Super Cruise Package. Your passengers also get a piece of the comfort pie with standard heated rear outboard seats, too!

2025 Chevy Blazer EV Charging Times

2025 Chevrolet Blazer EV Charging Times

The Blazer EV range will take you far before it needs a recharge, but even the most efficient batteries need more juice eventually. Luckily, the Chevy Blazer EV charge time is mercifully short. While the Chevrolet engineers haven't listed the official charging times for the 2025 lineup, the new models are expected to have similar times to their 2024 predecessors. For example, 2024 variants can add about 78 miles of range to your electric SUV in just 10 minutes at DC fast-charging stations – 6 all while slightly improving upon the 2024 Blazer EV range.

This value may not be the same for the luxe SS trim, which has yet to have its Blazer EV range officially estimated by the EPA. Keep an eye out for official Blazer EV charging speed and range information on the new SS model as it becomes available.

Believe it or not, this SUV doesn't just consume electricity – it can give power back, too. Chevy Blazer EV bidirectional charging allows you to send electricity back to your home or another GM vehicle when it's equipped with the GM Energy Vehicle-to-Home Enablement kit, turning your car into a backup energy source in case of an emergency.

The excellent Chevy Blazer EV miles per charge rate could save you a lot of money on powering up over time, but if you want to save even more upfront, check out our available Blazer EV lease and financing specials.

Here's a quick guide to how to recharge with Level 1 or Level 2 charging or at DC fast-charging stations.

In fact, the 2025 Chevy Blazer EV is compatible with more than 231,000 public stations across the country that you can use to add electricity to your vehicle's battery. Frequently Asked Questions

What is the range of the 2025 Chevrolet Blazer EV on a single charge?

The 2025 Chevy Blazer EV has an EPA-estimated range of up to 334 miles on a single charge.1 This is achieved with the RS trim when it's equipped with RWD. AWD models earn a maximum EPA-estimated 283 miles of range.2 We're still waiting for official ranges for FWD models and the new SS trim, so be sure to check back here soon for those figures.

How long does it take to charge the Blazer EV?

The Blazer EV charging specs depend on several factors, such as the charging level. Level 1 charging is good for adding small amounts, while a Level 2 charger can fully charge your EV overnight. A public DC fast-charging station will provide the quickest results. While 2025 charge speeds aren't available yet, the 2024 model can add 78 miles of range to your battery in about 10 minutes.6

What are the costs of owning an electric SUV as compared to a gasoline SUV?

Although electric SUVs tend to have a slightly higher price tag initially, you quickly start saving money when you opt for an electric model. Not only will you be purging gasoline costs from your budget, but you also won't need oil changes and some other maintenance work anymore. That means you'll spend more time on the road and less time – and money – at the service center.

Are there any tax incentives or rebates available for buying the Chevy Blazer EV?

The purchase of a new 2025 Chevy Blazer EV may qualify you for a federal tax credit7 and may also land you savings from state-centered tax incentives. The rules and regulations for these tax incentives are subject to change, and eligibility requirements may be altered at any time. Make sure to ask our financial specialists about these savings when you visit for your in-person look at this model.

How does the Chevy Blazer EV SUV perform in terms of acceleration and speed?

The Chevy Blazer EV is among the most impressive all-electric SUVs on the market. The model maintains a spacious design while being able to make the sprint from zero to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds with the top-tier SS model. The same trim uses an all-electric powertrain to produce up to 595 horsepower and up to 645 pound-feet of torque.

Can the Chevy Blazer EV tow, and if so, what is its towing capacity?

Yes, the 2025 Chevy Blazer EV can tow. We don't have the OEM values for the new model year yet, but we expect them to be similar to its 2024 predecessor. The previous models can tow up to 3,500 when properly equipped with RWD. AWD models have a towing capacity of 1,500 pounds when properly equipped. Reach out to our team for details.

How does cold weather affect the electric SUV's range and performance?

Cold weather tends to drain battery power faster than warmer weather, and your vehicle may take longer to charge as the years go on. However, keeping up with routine battery maintenance and monitoring can help your EV's battery life stay consistent. It's also important to give your model proper time to warm up in colder weather – this will help reduce negative cold-weather effects.
